Continuing on with our unit, The Challenge of Land, we focused on the concept of Manifest Destiny, and the realities that resulted.We then gained an understanding of the physical challenges of life in the Western Frontier for the new pioneers, by reading first hand accounts, and looking at pictures and videos. We are working on the skills of observing details, and forming conclusions from these details.
Look at the great advertisements we created, encouraging people to join this west-ward migration, as we put these skills and knowledge to work together.
As we come to the end of this section, we are starting a review, preparing for our up coming test.
